November.
Already? Wasn’t summer just a few weeks ago?
Halloween has come and gone , and that familiar chill is in the air. The mornings are dark and frosty, and soon enough- snow! We’re in the final stretch of fall folks! This time of year makes me feel reflective. I’ve had a pretty great first year so far here at the library. I’ve gotten to know so many wonderful people in our community, and I’m thankful to call many of your children my friends. Thankfulness is the theme of the season! A time to think about all we are grateful for, appreciate our friends and family, and spread love and kindness to those who may not feel as blessed. That’s why I’ve put together a few fun activities with this focus for kids to participate in when you visit the library this month.
I look forward to practicing an “attitude of gratitude” all month long with you!
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates vision for tomorrow”. – Melodie Beattie
