Greetings from the library! My name is Angela and I am the new Adult Services librarian. There are a lot of exciting things in the works at the library. Several new programs are starting up in October. Here is what is in the works right now. The 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month are for my fellow “Word Nerds.” We will be playing Scrabble, Boggle, and Bananagrams. The third Wednesday of the month will be Adult Storytime. Grab your favorite craft, come to the library and relax while I read to you. I am also working on scheduling one adult programming event each month and would love your feedback on what you would like to see for programs.
That brings us to this blog. I am an avid reader which I guess makes sense since I work at the library. I love talking about books and I look forward to seeing you in person to do that. I write a personal blog where I review books, and it occurred to me that I could do that here as well. What you will see here are my favorite books (5 star reads) that are available through the library system. I hope you enjoy the reviews and please know that they will always be spoiler-free. I would also love to hear your book recommendations, so feel free to comment on my posts with books you think I should check out.
